What is the BNZ Corporate Challenge?

The BNZ Corporate Challenge is the perfect team challenge for you and your work colleagues – a great opportunity for a truly unique team building experience. The past few years have been an outstanding success with the number of teams growing significantly year on year. The 2017 edition of the BNZ Corporate Challenge will follow the same format as last year and once again aims to entice a variety of riders – from those who have never stepped inside the Avantidrome before, to those who will be returning for their third or fourth time. There’s the Italian Pursuit category for new riders and the Cambridge Pursuit category for experienced riders.

Do I need to have ridden on the Avantidrome track before?

No! Entrants in the Italian Pursuit event do not need any previous riding experience on a velodrome. Inexperienced riders will be coached through the eight week training block and will be Accredited before taking part in any racing. However, there are event options for those experienced riders (see above).

When can I train?

The training for teams entered in the Italian Pursuit category will commence on Sunday 30th July 2017 and run for eight weeks. Teams will be allocated one training session a week, however teams can also book private track time if they feel that their team requires more practice before the big event.
