Any student can book into our Youth & Schools Programme.
Whilst some sessions are aligned to specific schools where they have their own school’s programme and coach, many of the sessions are now open to any student to join so that all have the opportunity to experience riding at the Avantidrome.
These sessions are run by qualified, experienced Avantidrome Coaches. Students can work to become accredited as part of these sessions, or if already accredited, work to further develop their skills in preparation for Schools Racing on Friday nights here at the Avantidrome.
Note: These are the only sessions, which a child younger than 10 years will be considered; this is considered on a case by case basis.
To book see our Track Schedule and look for ‘Schools – Program’ for session times.
If you are unsure about which session best suits your needs call reception on 07 823 1421 and they’ll help you out.
Every Friday night from 6pm – 8pm during term time, the Avantidrome hosts Schools Racing. Schools Racing is an exciting night for kids to match themselves against their mates, put their skills to practice and of course have a bit of fun. Follow the Avantidrome Schools Racing facebook page for updates.
Pre-register for the term here to guarantee a spot and take advantage of a great saving on registration fees.
PLEASE NOTE: A $15 bike hire fee will apply per term if you wish to use an Avantidrome hire bike for racing.
Term 3 racing finishes Friday 22nd September.
Term 4 racing starts Friday 20th October and runs for 7 weeks.
